These homeowners wanted to update their large master bathroom but be mindful of function and safety as they look to the future in their home.
Old wood stained cabinetry was replaced with sleek light grey cabinets and storage space was added with a vanity tower (electrical outlet inside) and a new wall cabinet in the toilet room.
The large unused soaking tub was replaced by a new desk height vanity dressing area with even more storage and sitting space with a makeup mirror. The luxurious quartz countertops with dark veining were carried over for one cohesive space. The quartz was also used in the shower on the bench area, and all of the pony walls including the entrance threshold to maintain waterproofing.
The shower was enlarged and a bench was added with grab bars for comfort and safety. Beauftiful multi-colored mosaic pebble stones were installed on the floor of the shower for a spa-like design and feel. A roomy niche decorated with the same pebble stones and a quartz shelf provides easy access for those daily necessities. The hand shower is easily accessible for when you want to sit on the bench, but is also functional in rinsing the shower. We added tall pony walls for privacy and carried the shower wall tile to the exterior walls and used a wood look porcelain floor tile so wet towels and water drips are no concern. The rain glass provides an elegant finishing touch to this much improved shower.
The toilet room has also been outfitted with grab bars and accessories to match the rest of the bathroom and now these homeowners have a gorgeous bathroom that is both sleek and highly functional.
