This home chef and family love to entertain and they needed a space that would help them create amazing meals and gatherings! We set out to create this masterpiece by removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room, and also the interior kitchen and pantry closet walls. We removed the formal dining room bay windows to become the new range/hood location (the heart of the kitchen). We raised the prep sink bay windows to allow for base cabinet storage underneath them. This space now flows beautifully into the living room with access to the back yard and has plenty of seating and room for all to enjoy the vast amenities this space offers. Brilliant white cabinetry houses all new chef grade stainless steel appliances to whip up the most delicious meals. There are so many functional upgrades such as two large pantry cabinets with roll out shelves for easy access, a mixer lift, upper and lower built in spice pullouts, and a utensil storage pullout. A custom made deep coffee and wine bar cabinet was designed for specific storage to include those daily used small appliances. And wait, not one but two base pullout step ladders to effortlessly reach the upper wall cabinets. Decorative blue and white accent tile behind the range and hood enhances the focal point of the room. Multitone deep blue subway tile flows into the beverage area and extends to the ceiling for a beautiful backdrop to the view out back. A beverage cooler and dedicated wine fridge allow easy access to drinks for guests with an additional prep sink, plus extra storage for pet supplies. The dark glazed navy island has seating for six and a generous 48″ wide sink with dual faucets and loads of accessories to make prep and cleanup a breeze. The island also houses the dishwasher and a custom roll out trash cabinet with a built-in paper towel holder and a cabinet with deep roll out trays to store cleaning supplies. There is another set of cabinets under the island stool overhang for even more storage. The island quartz countertop adds a majestic touch with large bold flowing veins of navy and ingrained silver that adds textual interest. The complimentary perimeter quartz countertops have a smaller softer navy blue vein running through it. Wouldn’t everyone dream of having this “kitchen” in their home!
