This large master bathroom had plenty of space but wasn’t working for this couple. We set out to make their dream bathroom a reality and rearranged this space to give them all the features and function they desired.
We rotated the water closet to make room for a beautiful functional double vanity with a tower for added storage along with a matching wall medicine cabinet. The unused over sized tub was removed and in its place is the new lavish his and hers shower with marble look porcelain tile to the ceiling, niches for each shower head, a toe rest ledge with a hand shower on her side and extra robe hooks in the shower to hang wet swimsuits after a soak in the hot tub. Designer hexagon mosaic tiles were used as a contrast for the shower pan and the back of each niche. Frameless glass and a new transom window make this large shower a bright, open, enjoyable space.
The opposite vanity wall was cleared out to make room for a double linen cabinet to include eight roll-out trays and a wall mounted warming towel rack.
The matching porcelain tile floors have in floor heating with programmable and wireless controls to ensure feet stay warm even on cold winter mornings.
Stained maple cabinetry and modern black stainless fixtures add contrast and warmth along with the new detailed knotty alder barn door that was stained to compliment the cabinetry.
