Modern Updated Bathrooms!

This beautiful home had great spaces that just didn’t fit the homeowners style. We brought this huge master bathroom and a guest bath up to date with modern finishes and features.

The large master bath had a huge soaking tub that was never used; so, we made room for a piece of furniture to be placed for added countertop and storage or even a place to sit down in the new tranquil space. The old dark stained vanities are now a sleek modern slab drawer front in a grey painted maple wood. Fresh white quartz countertops, and backsplashes were selected to contrast with the grey cabinetry.  The simple white quartz was also used for the low clearance shower curb, pony wall cap, window and niche sills for a cohesive feel and to compliment the shower wall tile and the floor tile.  We removed the two small niches in the shower and replaced them with one wider niche repeating the same materials as used in the shower.

The large shower was revamped with a sliced pebble floor tile, modern 12×24 wall tiles, all new chrome fixtures to include a stylish grab bar, a fabulous large ceiling rain can and a frameless shower enclosure where the door handle is also a 24″ wide towel bar. The same tile used for the shower walls was used for the floor tile but in a lighter color to brighten the space.  And, a radiant floor heating system was installed to keep feet warm on cold mornings and is set on a timer for the perfect time to come on and off.

The new LED lit vanity mirrors and LED bar lights offer a minimalist design with a lot of function!

Down the hall in the guest bath we removed the tub completely and turned the space into just a shower adding a new modern by-pass glass shower enclosure.  We  carried over the same materials and features that were used in the master bathroom but we flipped the floor and shower wall tile.  We utilized the same fresh white quartz for the window sill, ledge shelf and shower curb as well as the vanity countertop continuing and completing the “Modern Updates.”
