Grand Island Remodel !
This home had a well used kitchen that was ready for an overhaul! We started by removing the lower soffit to allow for taller cabinets with beautiful cove molding.
Removing one of the peninsulas, reconfiguring the appliances and taking down an angled wall allowed us to open up this space and create a better flow with more storage and easier access into the dinette area. We also created a dedicated beverage center complete with a coffee pot filler. We added a new much larger island for the gas cooktop and chimney hood with seating for 5 and loads of prep space.
Knotty Alder cabinets in a mid-tone stain bring character to the large space and the brown veins in the gorgeous quartz countertops brings the outdoors in to this fabulous foothill location. The gorgeous quartz countertops feature a nice brown vein to compliment the cabinets beautifully. Multi-shade white backsplash tile gives a clean transition from cabinets to countertops with interest of its own. Fresh neutral paint, new can lights and under cabinet lighting add to the tranquil peaceful retreat feel of this home making this kitchen the large open heart of the home that it was always meant to be.
