New Master Suite!

These new homeowners wanted to turn the entire basement into a master suite all their own but the small bathroom just didn’t work.  They always dreamed of having a beachy vibe in their new master bathroom; therefore, the new design finishes were selected for that scene.

We started by expanding the wall from the existing bathroom and stealing some space from a closet to give them a large luxurious bathroom for two with plenty of light, storage and space for a large shower.

This room has a lower ceiling so we made it feel larger with bright white cabinetry and ample lighting. The vanity tower and over toilet cabinet provide needed storage and there is even more storage at the dressing area as you enter the bathroom. A serene white and soft teal quartz countertop with fine black veining ties into the back shower wall and niche with ocean teal accent tile to the ceiling.

The spacious shower features two shower heads, plus a handheld shower head, and a ceiling rain head for that vacation spa feel.  A corner bench was a must for these homeowners to relax in the shower.  Black fixtures and accessories provide a bold contrast which tie into the shower floor tile.

New warm (beach sand color) LVP flooring throughout the basement carries into the bathroom and a new frosted glass entry door keeps the space separate from the bedroom. Calming Sherwin Williams Sea Salt paint color was used to play off of the teal accents and fresh white trim helps to brighten up the space and validate that beachy vibe.
